Our republic is now sixty years old . Sathiyana is the word we use when a person reaches sixty.this word is used when a person looses control over his mind.Don`t you think that this word is very apt for our sixty year old republic also.I think, like an old man ,it too,does need a by-pass surgery, a kidney transplant or a cataract removal.
Yes I am talking about our constituition.
It needs over-hauling.There are many laws ,which,when enacted,were very useful for the people of this country,but have now lost their relevence.What do you think about the SC/ST reservation, different laws for different communities,the all powerful political system,almost GOD like politicians,who are selling this beautiful country in the CHOR market?
Don`t you think the country now needs really stringent measures to curb inflation and to curb pollution.What do you think about the corruption?That`s where our sixty year old constituition is almost helpless.Hence we need surgery, that is why we ought to have amendments.
